From my home to yours, wishing you all a very, Merry Christmas! Hope your holiday is filled with lots of family, fun, love and spent creating new memories! Be sure to remember and pray for those who cannot be with their families this year, whether it's because they've gone home to be with our Lord and Savior, or whether they are working/overseas this Christmas. Merry Christmas and God bless you all! #JesusIsTheReasonForTheSeason © Cruzin' Thru | 2015
Wishing you all a very happy, albeit belated, Thanksgiving! I hope that your day was filled with family, friends, food, fun, and laughter. I know ours was very busy and very blessed creating so many fun memories <3 "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but live by them." -John F. Kennedy Keep that thought in mind and know that we should not just be thankful for our blessings once every year, but to be thankful every single day, through all things. God is good! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1 © Cruzin' Thru | 2015
Each November, I like to reflect on life and the blessings that I or my family have received. Actually, I try to do this on a daily basis, but in November, I like to jot it down or journal it somewhere. A few years ago, I actually posted my thoughts here on my blog. Last year, I kept it to myself in my journal app, and would do it daily. This year, I'm going to write them here again. Not necessarily on a day by day basis, but as they come to me and as the spirit moves me.
Additionally, I have a chalkboard wall at home that I like to use for different seasonal bucket list/family activities, but for this month - it is going to be an open prompt for my family to write what they're thankful for whenever the spirit moves them as well!
My grandma always said she lived a good life! She was such an amazing grandmother and faithful servant of our Lord! Grandma, You were always telling us grandkids how proud you were of each one of us! I will be sure to follow your legacy to live a good life and a life to be proud of! I know you are watching over us all, I can still feel your love in everything that I see or do. You may be gone, but never, ever will fade from our hearts or memories 💜 I love you 💜 © Cruzin' Thru | 2015
Here is just a few of our growing-every-day fall bucket list. The one that I'm especially looking forward to is Autumn at the Arboretum! We've gone to the same pumpkin patch for years, and while we have cherished memories there, I think we need a little change this year and the Arboretum is going to do just that! Cheers to a happy and festive fall season! © Cruzin' Thru | 2015
Fourteen years ago, evil struck down our buildings, killed our people. But they didn't defeat us and they never will. It did the opposite. It strengthened our resolve, brought everyone together as one. We looked out for each other.
We will never forget the tragedy fourteen years ago. We will always remember how we came together to rise from the ashes. "One of the worst days in American history saw some of the bravest acts in American history." ~ George W. Bush Finally settling down to my vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, antibiotic-free, raw, non-GMO, organic, fat-free, low-carb meal!
We are fortunate to live in the land of the free, because of the brave! May we always remember that freedom is never free, someone always has to pay a price so that others may live. Thank you to our brothers and sisters who serve to protect this freedom and my savior Jesus who paid the ultimate price so that I may be free! If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under - Ronald Reagan Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. - Psalm 33:12 Hope you have a safe and Happy 4th of July!!
