I used:
1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1/3 c flour
Sugar
Food coloring
Start by preheating your oven to 350.
Take the dough and add the flour to it, making sure to knead it and mix well. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a rectangular shape, approximately 1/4" thick.
Using a ziplock Baggie, I used 1 tbsp sugar and added the food coloring until you reach your desired color, usually just three to four drops. I made six different batches, one for each color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Simply arrange the colors in a row, like below.
Place some parchment paper over your cookie or baking sheet, and arrange your cookies in a single layer, leaving about 2" between cookies to allow for spreading while baking. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until a golden color. Remove to a wire rack and allow to cool completely. Enjoy!
