This recipe makes one serving, and ends up being about 12 ounces total.
You will need:
- 1 cup of organic baby spinach
- 1 cup of frozen tropical fruit (Sam's carries a 3 lb bag for about $6; heckuva deal imo!)
- 1 tsp organic agave syrup
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1/2 cup reduced sugar orange juice
- 1/2 cup filtered water
Simply add it all to the blender and blend until your desired consistency. Sometimes I like a little more tang, so will add a little more OJ. This is a really yummy, simple and healthy breakfast smoothie that will literally satisfy your hunger until your next meal.
