But, I am making a strong comeback in May! I will be completing two separate challenges:
1 - the SparkPeople "A Mile a Day in May" challenge #MayMiles - just any type of cardio for one mile each and every day. Done!
2 - Amazing-Race inspired challenge - to run as much as possible for the next eight weeks to help my team at work accumulate miles. The challenge is to accumulate enough miles to have theoretically run from Dallas to Las Vegas. Done!
I think this will be more than enough to keep me busy for the month, so I won't be doing any targeted workout challenges (i.e. glutes workout, arms workout, abs workout, etc); but I will try to keep a journal here of the progress I'm making each and every day along with snapshots from my RunKeeper app that will help me remain accountable! Looking forward to this huge month!

May 2: our son had batting practice tonight and my husband took all the kids, so that left me able to get in my MayMiles! Did this super quick bike route around our neighborhood! Over two miles in less than 13 mins! Woot woot - May 2nd DONE!!
May 4: we spent the day at the pool and I did lots of laps - I mean a lot! I have no way of measuring how far I actually went but would bet that with all of my laps and races with the kids that I am at a mile! #MayMiles
May 7: done!
May 10: #maymiles walk done for today. Up and at it early!
May 14: getting my #MayMiles done during lunch and enjoying this beautiful day!
May 24: these past few days have been so busy that they have flown by without me being able to get my mile in! So this morning, I made up for it by completing 4 miles this morning!
May 27: geez, these past few days have been either super-busy or rainy and not conducive to doing my miles. So, tonight I made up for Sunday and Monday, completed my mile for tonight and then some! I def encourage you all to do one mile each day, but life happens and messes our best laid plans. In that instance, do as much as you can to make up and catch up to your current days commitment! We got this ;). #MayMiles
