This months challenge is targeting the lower abs which I'm sure all moms can attest is one of the hardest areas to tone back up after a baby, or two or three or more if you're that blessed!
What I like about this one is that there isn't the usual focus on crunches and sit-ups and you don't even need a stability ball! Instead it's all smaller, targeted motions.
Stay tuned for my daily checkin and progress updates!
P. S. Just because it's not May anymore doesn't mean I'm slacking off of my miles! Instead, my goal is 10 miles a week! Very doable!

June 2nd and 3rd: I started my June challenge yesterday and so far I really like it! I can definitely feel some soreness in my lower abs this morning when I was doing today's routine. Each exercise in the challenge isn't terribly difficult, so I am starting the challenge with two reps of each exercise with the goal to build up to five or more reps of each exercise as I strengthen my lower abs. Unfortunately, there's not any photos to go with this challenge, just my daily thoughts! See you tomorrow and keep up the hard work - you're doing great!

June 4 and 5: Not going to lie, my lower abs are really feeling sore. I notice it a lot more when I'm doing the flutter kicks and the six inches exercises. Hoping that with consistency I will see some great results and increased strength in my lower abs!!

June 7: So after about one week, I'm really getting into this routine! The sore feeling has subsided and I've increased my reps from two to three. I notice that my lower ab muscles seem just a little tighter. A good first week, but here's to a good next three weeks! Ideally will be increasing the reps by one each week.

June 16: We have been so busy these past several days, with the kids being out of school, family in town, graduations, Father's Day celebrations, etc that I have neglected this portion of my blog. However, even though I haven't been on here, I have been able to keep up with my fitness challenge and I feel like my lower abs have really gotten stronger! There's not a lot to see as far as physical changes, but I can feel the difference! Keep up the great work everyone, we are half way through this challenge! How are you doing?
